A Bit About Raleway

Founded in 2021 Straight out of Lockdown.

One bored day, in the middle of Lockdown, Sam built his first website at the ripe old age of 8 using Wordpress and an old computer he had acquired from his grandparents skip as the server! After many hours of Youtube videos (Yes no AI back then!) he installed a basic LAMP stack on that old computer. Sam's first server was born! A few years later (He doesn't want to feel old), still with a passion for all things networking, and much to the dismay of his parents, Sam set up an enterprise style network in his family home, with yes... more servers. He was subsequently forced to get a job, after leaving school, so he started working in building Wordpress sites at a local agency. Swiftly kicked off designing the websites (Sam don't do design!), and was deployed managing the hosting for all the clients websites. Sam was a few years closer to retirement (About 50 years to go!), when he started Raleway.

Sam now works in the security sector and at Raleway, and has recently launched edob.cloud, the cloud platform for security companies. (44 years to retirement!)
