1What is Litespeed
LiteSpeed Web Server (LSWS) is high-performance web server software designed to replace Apache. It handles heavy traffic and loads web pages fast while using less computer memory and power.
2What are the Mail Box Sizes
As standard, we provide 10Gb Mail Boxes. The size limit can be increased on request.
3Do you impose any limits on your servers
Yes, we limit certain functions to help ensure reliability. We limit the IOPS (How many items can be read / written to the disk at once), Number of Processes (How many processes a server can handle at a time), CPU usage and RAM. The limits we impose will not affect most websites, Litespeed server, handles requests very quickly, so an efficient website can handle thousands of visitors at once.
4Where are your servers?
Our servers are located in Coventry, UK. The Data centre offers 2N+1 power and networking.
5Is your hosting green?
Our servers are powered by the UK grid, due to the power mix on the Grid, green energy cannot be guaranteed. The Data Centre we use has a 180Kw solar installation on the roof, used to power the data centre on sunny days.
6Do i have to change my Nameservers?
For our managed hosting, yes. We use a custom Content Delivery Network (CDN) to ensure your website loads super fast globally. To connect your domain to our CDN, we need to update your name servers.
